“Camanchaca” is a family owned Chilean Seafood Company established in 1965.
The companies operations include a fleet of commercial fishing vessels that captures predominately jack mackerel for the canned market and for fish meal and fish oil production. As well, the company has license for over 60% of the Chilean langostino fishery.
In the mid 1980’s Camanchaca diversified into Aquaculture. Today the company’s fully integrated Aquaculture operations include salmon, steelhead trout, scallops, oysters, abalone, and mussels.
Camanchaca markets its products globally under the Pier 33 Gourmet and Camanchaca Gourmet Brands.
