Anresco Laboratories provides critical testing for various hazards associated with seafood. Of primary concern for fresh/frozen fish/shellfish is decomposition issues, for which we perform organoleptic/sensory analysis and chemical indicator testing such as histamine and indole. We also do testing for a wide variety of common contaminants including pesticides, industrial chemicals, toxic elements (e.g., lead and mercury), and microbiological attributes.
