Lake Trucking company built new facility in 2002 to accommodate the fleet of 11 semi tractor-trailers, which transported over 11 million pounds of seafood freight in 2007. The plant is approximately 17,000 square feet with a 1,600 square foot freezer and a cooler that is 1,200 square feet. There are four loading bays and a large area for processing and packaging.

Lake Trucking ships to the Midwest bi-weekly and also to all points in Florida on straight van trucks. Stokes Fish Company imports saltwater product from Central & South America, which is picked up at the Miami Airport. Other saltwater product is purchased from various points in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
