Specializing in handling temperature controlled cargo, the Port of Halifax has doubled the number of reefer plugs at both of our state of the art container terminals. Halifax is the closest major port to Europe and one full day closer to China and Southeast Asia (via the Suez Canal) than any other east coast container port.
