LITMUS Food Quality Indicator (FQI), LLC introduces breakthrough technology which will dramatically improve current methods of detecting food spoilage. LITMUS FQI, in collaboration with the FDA's NCTR has developed an objective, accurate and inexpensive method to determine food quality that utilizes sensors to directly indicate food decomposition. These sensors change color, indicating when the food quality is no longer acceptable and should not be eaten. LITMUS’ Sensors allow harvesters, growers, processors, retailers and consumers to monitor food quality throughout the food distribution supply chain.
