Dhofar Fisheries Industries Co. SAOG is one of the projects promoted by Oman & Emirates Investment Holding Co. SAOG, (OEIHC) and ACTEMSA which is part of the ESCURIS Group who are the market leaders in fishing, processing and canning in Spain (60 years experience) and Gulf Investment Corporation, The Arab Investment Company and many local and Gulf investors.

The factory is situated in Raysut Industrial, Dhofar Region, is one of the most modern factories worldwide facilitated with latest European technology and standards ‘HACCP’. The Company is EU approved (QC: 92/40).

The plant has an annual production capacity of 22 million tuna cans per year on a single shift operation basis, 27 million sardine cans, 1,800 MT of whole tuna loins fresh and frozen, 1,800 MT of fish meal and 250 MT of fish oil.

The factory building has acclimatized process and storage areas of about 10,000 sq. mtr. And is situated in a 34,000 sq mtr. land area.
