Mary Smith is a freelance marketing consultant and has now settled in as the marketing manager for Santa Monica Seafood. Prior to that, she was the director of marketing at The Plitt Company, headquartered in Chicago, IL. Although she’d rather visit the four corners of the earth in person, she enjoys adventuring from her desk via the internet, when actual travel is out of the budget. Mary has been involved in the seafood industry since 2000 and focuses her energy on innovation and creativity when it comes to promoting seafood.
Mary is a 1998 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and holds a B.S. in Creative Writing from Northland College, home of the world’s greatest fish fry.
