About the Author

Lindsey Partos is a business journalist with over ten years experience in writing news and analyses on and for the global food and beverage industry. In 1999 Lindsey founded the editorial operation at B2B publisher Decision News Media, Montpellier, France. Initially Lindsey worked with the company founders' to launch - from inception to live status - the firm's flagship site FoodNavigator.com. Thereafter, Lindsey contributed to the development, and roll-out, of a further 13 successful B2B food, nutrition and beverage news websites. Under her direction as editor of FoodNavigator.com, the site won awards (Best website, Britvic Food and Drink Journalism Awards, 2005) and Lindsey was shortlisted as online business editor of the year by the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA). Her position then dovetailed in pace with the growth of the company, and latterly she enjoyed the role of managing editor for the food, beverage and nutrition arm of Decision News Media. In 2008, Lindsey moved to Paris with her husband and two children. She is now working as a freelance journalist, working with SeafoodSource.com to contribute timely news stories for the seafood industry delivered from Europe.
