Mark GodfreyMark Godfrey reports from China as a contributing editor for SeafoodSource.com. A native of Ireland’s western seaboard, Mark Godfrey has lived in Asia for eight years, accredited in China with the Irish fortnightly title Business & Finance magazine while also contributing regularly to business titles like China Economic Review and The Economist. Mark graduated from Dublin City University with a degree in journalism and a masters degree in international relations. After graduating he worked in Germany and Spain editing a series of magazines on resource and fixed asset investment in emerging European economies. Having written his master's thesis on Chinese foreign policy he figured China was the place to be. Since settling in Beijing in 2003, he’s worked across Asia providing analysis for seafood and energy industry trade titles and is a regular contributor to the Irish national broadcaster RTE.
