In partnership with U.K. publisher Graffeg, the Shellfish Association of Great Britain (SAGB) has produced a guide of where to buy and eat oysters throughout London.

"The London Oyster Guide" includes listings for restaurants, bars and markets with descriptions, sample dishes, maps and contact information. Locations outside of London are also included.

The guide was authored by food writer and SAGB member Colin Pressdee.

“Eating oysters is a uniquely invigorating experience,” said Tom Pickerell, SAGB director. “No other food conjures up a taste sensation as strongly as an oyster, the essence of the sea in edible form. The book is ideal for both food connoisseurs and anyone who already enjoys eating oysters and proves a wonderful guide for those who wish to try oysters for the first time.”

The guide also contains the SAGB’s UK oyster tasting guide.
