BAP broadens its market development team, efforts

The market development department for the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division just gained another member in Tim Hogan, who will join the team as the new market development manager covering the West Coast of the U.S. and Canada.

Hogan comes to BAP with more than 20 years of food manufacturing and retail experience. He previously in management-level positions as regional sales director for a leading U.S.-based seafood importer, director of national accounts for a U.S.-based meat supplier, and in various positions at Sara Lee Corp. 

“We are delighted to have Tim on the team and think he will add immediate value,"said Peter Redmond, BAP’s VP of market development. "Tim brings a great skill set to us. He understands and personally identifies with GAA’s role of advocacy and education along with a deep personal connection to improving the role and image of aquaculture.” 

In his new role, Hogan will report to Redmond.
