European research group Enviguard has announced a new survey for European aquaculture, studying environmental and fish health challenges.
The research, carried out by the AquaBioTech Group and the University of Istanbul in Turkey, asks about algal blooms, fish diseases and chemical pollutants. It also asks about monitoring practices and suggestions for improvements.
“By learning about the farm locations and set-up, the results will provide insight as to the logistical needs required for such new technologies,” the group said in a statement.
They survey will run from October to November. Participants can answer it online in any of six languages by visiting the group’s website and clicking “Survey.”
