High demand prompts BAP to offer special group training course

With enthusiasm for group and multi-site zone cluster certifications on the rise, the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) has decided to offer a special auditor training course for its group and barrio certification programs.

To be held from 30-31 March at the Hotel Manquehue in Puerto Montt, Chile, the course will be open to a select group of auditors who have group and barrio audit qualifications as well as industry observers, including government officials, producers and other industry stakeholders.

Single course attendees must pay USD 250 per person, while companies with more than one representative in attendance must pay the initial fee and then just USD 70 for each additional participant.

According to GAA, the audit cost savings that come with group and barrio certifications are more significant when compared to single facility certifications.

All questions regarding course registration, payment and content can be directed to BAP Chile Coordinator Carolina Senn at [email protected].
