Vietnam fish feed company Ocialis on Thursday announced that it has been certified by GlobalGAP.
Ocialis is the aquaculture brand of Evialis and manufactures and sells feed for shrimp and finfish in Vietnam, Brazil, Mexico, France and Indonesia. It also manufactures and sells aquaculture premix and additives in France, China, India and South Africa. It ranks third in the world tropical feed market.
The certification is one step in the company’s strategy to help seafood professionals develop specific traceable and secured networks, especially for tropical for such as pangasius.
Ocialis has been a member of GlobalGAP since 2009 and was an active participant in developing the pangasius aquaculture standards.
