Read the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership's first-ever annual report

To mark its 10-year anniversary, the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) has released a new report summarizing the organization’s journey over the past decade, including summaries of alliances forged and most recent activities accomplished, as well as its future plans.

Its 2015 annual report is the first SFP has done. It provides an overview of SFP’s approach to sustainable seafood sourcing and touts success stories and key contributions made by the organization’s partners - including McDonald's, High Liner Foods and Wal-Mart - as well as other stakeholders.

“Given SFP’s growth over its first decade, not to mention what we’ve accomplished together with our industry partners, we thought it was time to use this important tool to tell SFP’s story and to document the important work we’re doing,” said Jim Cannon, SFP’s founder and CEO, in a news release. “Reaching this milestone shows SFP is no longer a small, grass-roots organization. SFP has clearly established itself as a global voice in sustainable seafood, and I couldn’t be prouder of the progress we’ve made together with the industry. We look forward to many more years of working with our partners toward a goal of environmental and economic stability.”
