Brooklyn-based salmon smoker launches new variety pack for retail

Brooklyn, New York-based smoker Acme Smoked Fish has launched a premium Smoked Salmon Variety Pack under its Acme brand, to be available for purchase as of 1 December at participating retail locations.

The 9-ounce Smoked Salmon Variety Pack package includes 3 ounces of each unique cured and smoked salmon flavor: Gravlax, Traditional and Black Pepper. Gravlax is seasoned with dill as a means to “recreate the unique style of an old Scandinavian tradition.”

Traditional is Acme’s original smoked salmon, following a 100-year-old family recipe, and Black Pepper comes coated with cracked, black pepper, providing a “uniquely spicy and smoky experience.”

“We’re excited to release this newest addition to the Acme line of smoked fish products,” said Ellen Lee-Allen, senior marketing manager of Acme Smoked Fish Corporation. “With its range of assorted flavors, we’re certain the Variety Pack will be a favorite for holiday entertaining.”

Retailers including Shop Rite, Hannaford, Fairway, Morton Williams, Adams Fairacre Farms, Foodtown, Weis and Winn Dixie Supermarkets will carry the item, deemed “ideal for family gatherings or sharing” by Acme.
