Cambay Tiger, the flagship brand for the India-based WestCoast Group, has launched a new live seafood mart in Bandra at the heart of Mumbai.
The Cambay Tiger Sea Food Mart offers customers live, frozen and chilled seafood featuring a wide variety of species including white prawns, seer fish, black pomfret, mud crabs, sardines, lady fish, Chinese pomfret, silver pomfret, silver anchovies, rawas, mackerel, rohu, catla and tilapia. Buyers can both order from the mart in person or place their requests and have their seafood delivered to them at home.
This new marketplace furthers along the Cambay Tiger brand tradition of serving fresh seafood in reliable ways, according to Shivam Gupta, the director for Cambay Tiger.
“For the past 15 years, Cambay Tiger has been serving seafood all the way from prawns to basa to salmon. We believe in continually giving our customers a new experience. Tilapia is a rare breed and it gives us an opportunity to introduce this to the sea food lovers in Mumbai. Here, customers can come in and choose their next meal, right from the water,” said Gupta.
Store hours run from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. for Mumbai residents.
Cambay Tiger products have been exported to over 30 countries over the past decade. The signature Cambay Tiger shrimps are grown on WestCoast Group’s farms in the Gulf of Khambat (Cambay), and are processed and managed in-house.
