Saint Simon's Island, Georgia, U.S.A.-based seafood supplier SeaPak Shrimp & Seafood Co. is highlighting its newest Asian-inspired seafood appetizer products for the holidays.
The appetizers, SeaPak Shrimp & Crab Rangoons and SeaPak Shrimp & Rice Rolls, are packaged frozen and add a “taste of Asian flair to any holiday spread,” according to SeaPak Director of Marketing Megan Grinstead.
“We’ve been telling consumers that the frozen seafood aisle is your best friend when it comes to ensuring hassle-free holiday get-togethers,” Grinstead said in a press release. “Our SeaPak finger foods and other products help families go from frozen to festive without any fuss, making them the easy, no-stress answer for entertaining and enjoyment.”
Participating Kroger and Giant Eagle locations will stock the appetizers through the month of December only. The new products are carving out a unique space in the frozen seafood segment and should not be missed, said Grinstead.
“They really are the first of their kind to hit the grocery store freezer section,” she said.
The Shrimp & Crab Rangoons consist of shrimp, crab and cheese, with a flaky pastry exterior, and come 13 rangoons to a pack with Thai chili dipping sauce. Shrimp and rice are highlighted in the Shrimp & Rice Rolls, as is the oven-crispy, breaded nori wrap. One package contains two shrimp and rice rolls (which can be sliced into 8-10 pieces each) and a soy ginger dipping sauce.
