Following an emotional meeting in Harbour Breton on Wednesday 3 April, the members of the FFAW/CAW local voted 82 percent to accept a new three-year contract with Cooke Aquaculture.
Greg Pretty, the Industrial/Retail Director with the FFAW/CAW in Newfoundland said that the contract will see wages being increased in each year of the contract with wages for all hours worked from 1 January 2013 being retroactive.
