Former Safeway executive joins Seattle Fish

The Seattle Fish Co. has welcomed Jason Cesario on board as its new director of operations, the regional seafood supplier announced on its website.

Cesario, a former operations manager for grocer Safeway, has 15 years of experience in the distribution arena, acting as a “change agent for lean implementation and sustainability.” Decreasing operating expenses, establishing sound inventory practices and overseeing transitions to zero-waste facilities are all processes that Cesario has had a hand in over the course of his career thus far.

According to Seattle Fish Co.: “Jason has a passion for employee engagement and ensuring the supply chain is functioning effectively to drive world class customer care.”

Cesario’s hire was listed by the Denver Post on 19 November.
