Iglo Group boosts marketing team

Iglo Group has hired Havas Media as its global media buying agency. The move follows the appointment as Havas Worldwide as the group’s global brand positioning advertising agency at the end of 2013.

"After a highly competitive pitch process I am delighted to announce the appointment of Havas Media as our global media buying agency. The appointment will give us the ability to have a fully joined-up approach to our creative and media communication. This new approach to our marketing and the Iglo brand is central to our new growth strategy that aims to double the size of the business by 2020,” said Elio Leoni Sceti, Iglo CEO.

In addition, Iglo has appointed a group CMO and two senior digital appointments to help deliver its brand and marketing strategy and increase its digital presence.

Luca Miggiano will join the company as CMO. He is currently VP Chocolate for the U.K., Ireland and Nordics at Mondelēz based in Switzerland and joins with more than 20 years of experience from leading FMCG brands across Europe including Cadbury, Jacobs Coffee, Kenco, Coca-Cola and Mars.

As part of Iglo Group's focus on digital, a key part of the new business strategy, two new positions have been created. Francis Nicholas is Iglo’s head of digital sales. He previously served as EMEA eCommerice business development leader at Procter & Gamble. Jerry Daykin is head of digital marketing, joining Iglo from Mondelēz where he is currently EU social media marketing manager.
