Online seafood trader launches Cyber Seafood Month

Online seafood trading platform Ocean Executive is celebrating the pending launch of its Open Marketplace through December, with all trades for the month calculated with half price fees.

December, dubbed Cyber Seafood Month by the company, will see a 50 percent (0.5 percent versus 1 percent) reduction in fee structure for total bill of sale for all confirmed transactions completed before 31 December, 2016. Traders will also be able to share their bids and offers via social media (Twitter) and email to trusted network recipients directly from the Ocean Executive platform. The Open Marketplace will officially launch during the 2017 Seafood Expo North America/ Seafood Processing North America event, to be held in Boston, U.S.A from 19 to 21 March, 2017.

The OE platform can be utilized to buy and sell a variety of species, according to the company.

“The Ocean Executive marketplace is user-generated data for a wide range of seafood species and specifications. Through our data analytics the Ocean Executive user will be able to take advantage of price discovery at their specified trading locations, through our easy to navigate dashboard,” explains the Ocean Executive website.
