Tech providers join forces to bring fish processors new machinery

A cooperate agreement between JBT Corporation and The BAADER Group was forged earlier this week which will allow for both companies to share technologies in an effort to create new offerings for fish and poultry processors.

By way of the agreement, The BAADER Group will combine its X-ray technology with JBT’s waterjet system technology to establish a high-capacity fish processing line.

The JBT technology, with its vision-guided DSI waterjet portioning and trimming system, has been installed 300 times across industries. What’s more, the technology has 30 years of proven performance, and an expert global network of service and applications engineering professionals who help deliver the reliable and lowest-cost-per-pound waterjet portioning solution.

Meanwhile, The BAADER Group plans, designs and installs complete processing lines for the fish and poultry industries, including fish processing facilities ashore and aboard shipping vessels. “The brand name BAADER and its corporate tradition stand for the highest quality in the fish processing, poultry processing, soft belt separation technology, weighing and sorting technology as well as software solutions for the monitoring and control of the production processes,” the company explained.
