05 June, 2012 - The Newfoundland and Labrador government is changing the way it regulates its aquaculture industry.

The government is amending its Aquaculture Act to modernize regulations and bring the province in line with other jurisdictions.

The amendments include new rules for reclaiming abandoned sites, enhanced enforcement and new rules for animal health.
