09 July, 2012 - McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants Inc. scored high on a Consumer Report magazine survey of restaurants, tying for third in the seafood category.

McCormick & Schmick’s, now based in Houston after a buyout by Houston-based Landry's Inc. earlier this year, was praised by the magazine for its mood, menu and cleanliness, according to the Portland Business Journal, a sister publication.

Landry’s Inc. closed a deal to buy 88 percent of McCormick & Schmick’s outstanding shares earlier this year for USD 8.75 per share, taking the seafood company private.
