15 August, 2012 - Akva Group ASA reported second quarter revenues of NOK 211.5 million, down slightly from NOK 222.5 million during the second quarter of last year.

The Norwegian aquaculture technology company also reported EBITDA of NOK 10 million, down from NOK 14 million during the second quarter of 2011.

The company credits its Nordic and Chile markets as the main revenue drivers in the quarter.

“Akva group achieved a steady operational and financial performance in a rather slow market in the second quarter of 2012,” said Trond Williksen, CEO. “Overall, taken rather slow market conditions into consideration, we are satisfied that we continue to deliver positive margins and results. Going forward we see positive signals in the market, especially in the Nordic region.”
