10 September, 2012 - The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute has released its Alaska Seafood Species Quick Reference Guide in a mobile format.

Like its physical predecessor, the mobile version of the guide contains valuable information about culinary preparations, harvesting and sustainability. The mobile guide also spotlights each Alaska seafood species in a quick summary that describes flavor and texture, average size, nutritional facts and availability.

The mobile guide is part of Alaska Seafood U, ASMI’s free interactive, web-based training program designed for retail seafood employees, chefs, food buyers and other industry members.
