Chicken of the Sea, Empress combine management Chicken of the Sea, Empress combine management

29 June, 2009 - Thai Union Frozen Products on Monday announced it combined the management of Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods and Empress International.

Bryan Rosenberg, Chicken of the Sea president, will also assume the role of president of Empress International, following the recent retirement of Tim McLellan.

Rosenberg is in the process of building his executive team.

"Bryan brings more than 20 years of experience to the table. Our customers expect a seamless transition, and Bryan will deliver that," said Thiraphong Chansiri, Thai Union president. "He has led Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods to great success since its formation in 2006, and he has the track record to lead the two companies."

Empress International and Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods are leading importers of frozen shrimp. The two companies market to retail, club and foodservice outlets, and each has developed a strong private label presence in the United States.
