Can eating fish save lives?

A recent conference in London has raised awareness of the benefits of the Mediterranean diet, which reduces the consumption of trans fats that increase the risk of coronary heart disease by raising levels of ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol and lowering levels of ‘good’ HDL cholesterol, largely due to the diet's seafood content.
