Evergreen aquatic processing is one of the three business units of Guangdong Evergreen Group Co.,Ltd — the national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization. Relying on the advantage of resources and the most complete industry chain of Evergreen Group which includes seedling breeding, feed production, aquaculture, aquatic product processing and domestic & international trade, Evergreen aquatic processing endeavors to elevate its product value by science and technology innovation, adjusts to the market changes by flexible operation, and it has become one of the largest aquatic processing groups. Evergreen aquatic processing has four subsidiaries: Zhanjiang Evergreen Aquatic product Science & Technology Co., Ltd (Zhanjiang City), Zhanjiang Hengrun Aquatic Co., Ltd(Zhanjiang City), Gaoyao Evergreen Aquatic product Science & Technology Co., Ltd(Gaoyao City), and Beihai Evergreen Aquatic product Science & Technology Co., Ltd(Beihai City)

The designs of all the plant sites are strictly in accordance with the Sanitation Criteria for Registration of Processing Enterprises of Export Aquatic Products, laws and regulations of American FDA and European Standards. State-of-art equipments, technology and processing technique are employed. All the products are under disinfection guided by international advanced ozone technology which ensures no residues. The inspection standard of Evergreen has reached the highest level in the world. Totally, the plants cover an area of 160,000 square meters with an annual output of 100,000 tons (2 billion RMB), and the freezing capacity is close to 30,000 tons.

Evergreen aquatic processing has set up a complete quality assurance system to conduct an affective quality control into the aquatic product processing. All of the four subsidiaries have obtained the following certificates: HACCP concerning fishery products for exporting to the United States of America, European Trademark Registration, BRC Global Standard-Food, ISO/DIS22000 certification, China Quality Certification and ACC. Zhanjiang Evergreen Aquatic Science and Technology Co.,Ltd, having realized the electric inspection over the whole producing, was appointed as the first pilot enterprise in customs entry by Guangdong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
