Long John Silver’s names former McDonald's exec as new president

Long John Silver’s, the chain of nearly 1,000 restaurants in the United States, announced a new president and COO.

Brian Unger, a former senior vice president of operations for McDonald’s and chief restaurant officer for the Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, was named president of LJS Operating Company and senior vice president of U.S. franchising and development.

In addition, Toni Bianco was named as COO of LJS U.S. and International, leading day-to-day national operations. Bianco previously served as vice president of Asia for Papa John’s Pizza and director of operations for Aramark.

Krista Foster, who joined LJS in 2015, was named vice president of human resources.
