2.) Chimichurri-topped shrimp dishes
This popular Argentinian sauce, traditionally paired with beef and chicken, is being used more on seafood dishes as consumers get more adventurous with ethnic flavors. In fact, 56 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds said they would like restaurants to offer more ethnic seafood dishes, according to a 2015 Technomic report. Restaurants featuring chimichurri shrimp dishes include Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, which has a chimichurri shrimp quesadilla and Taco John’s, which features the sauce in its street tacos.
