3. Grain-free and alternative flours
Seafood suppliers have been steadily launching products with gluten-free breading and ingredients, but they may also begin using some other innovative flours on the market.
“As seasoned and amateur bakers alike look to scratch a creative itch in the kitchen, an array of interesting flours are entering the market making baking more inclusive and adventurous,” Whole Foods Market said in its “Top 10 Food Trends for 2020”.
A few examples of innovative flours include teff, cauliflower, and seed/bean mixes.
