Seafood industry leaders on the move - Vol. III

lars.jpg.pngLars Schweig, Director of retail/club sales for Harbor Seafood ◊ With his long history in the seafood sector, it hardly comes as a surprise that New York-based company Harbor Seafood selected Lars Schweig as its new director of retail/club sales. Schweig got his chops working first at a smoked fish processing facility owned by his family (he represents fifth generation of his family to work in seafood), then moved on to work with seafood distributor Supreme Lobster.

In his new role, Schweig will oversee the Harbor Seafood retail sales team and work to flesh out the company’s customer base. Schweig and Harbor Seafood veteran Jon Heinold both received new positions/promotions in July.

“We’re really excited to have these two very talented individuals join the Harbor team which will accelerate our growth and further our mission! Their extensive experience will make a significant contribution to the company’s long-term plan,” said Alex Cook, Harbor Seafood’s VP of sales and marketing.

Career Highlights: Twenty-two years in the industry working for the family business and Supreme Lobster.
