Norway agrees system enabling salmon growth in low ISA areas

A new system that regulates salmon farming capacity in Norway will be launched in October this year, confirmed the country’s Fisheries Minister Per Sandberg.

The traffic light system will permit capacity increases in regions where sea lice levels are low, while those regions with a medium or high risk of sea lice infestations could face production cuts.
