Norwegian salmon prices slide, volumes to the US increase

Norway exported 72,800 metric tons (MT) of farmed Atlantic salmon worth NOK 4.9 billion (USD 580.6 million, EUR 547.9 million) last month. While the volume was on par with February 2016, the value of these exports increased by 16 percent or NOK 692 million (USD 82 million, EUR 77.4 million).
