Coated belts with dedicated materials and features for the seafood industry

Habasit’s portfolio contains a broad range of fabric based coated belts, among them materials with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance as well as suitability for continuous reliable performance in wet and humid processes. An example is Habasit Cleanline® Generation II, an upgrade of the unique range of polyolefin (TPO) coated food belts. Besides many times proven features like excellent release properties, very good chemical resistance Habasit has now substantially improved the wear resistance of the coating against abrasive foodstuff and mechanical interaction with TPU scrapers.

Habasit Cleandrive™ monolithic reinforced conveyor belts

Habasit Cleandrive™ monolithic reinforced conveyor belts stand for significant advantages in hygienic design and clean-ability. The advanced Habasit Cleandrive™ technology meets the most stringent requirements while delivering exceptional performance. The unique range of monolithic belts is now manufactured at a seamless width of 1.8 m / 72"’. The belts have a completely smooth sink-mark free conveying surface which caters for optimum scraper efficiency. The reverse side structure consist of hygienically engineered full width drive bars that engage perfectly into the dedicated HyCLEAN sprocket series to ensure a zero tension positive drive. Reinforced with strong aramid cords, the belts deliver reliable belt performance throughout the service life.

HabasitLINK® Plastic Modular Belts

Habasit has improved the design of plastic modular belts to make them even more suitable for demanding seafood processing applications. HabasitLINK® plastic modular belts feature dynamic open hinges to improve easy cleaning and the release of debris. The patented HyCLEAN product family has a unique hygienic design that enables 85% access to the pivot-rode and 100% hinge accessibility for improved and efficient cleaning. Another innovation by Habasit is Micropitch, the smallest available belt pitch on the market that enables the belts running over a 7 mm diameter nosebar.

HabasitLINK® Plastic Modular Belts with Saniclip system

Habasit has recently introduced another evolution to the Plastic Modular Belt rage, namely the Saniclip system. This is an innovative device for quick and easy belt installations and repairs. With Habasit Saniclip Modular belts can now be opened without any tools or special skills within just a few seconds. This is enabled by a dedicated special rod design that even comes in different color than the belt to clearly indicate the position for opening.

Habasit Saniclip makes belt installations and opening for cleaning as simple and reliable than never before.

The HyCLEAN CIP system a patented, awarded belt cleaning system

The HyCLEAN CIP (Clean in Place) system is designed for flexible, economical and reliable cleaning of plastic modular and other belting products. A unique feature is that the system works with low water pressure. The superior performance of the HyCLEAN CIP has been proven under practice conditions to deliver substantially reduced water consumption (approx. 50% less) compared to currently used state-of-the-art CIP systems, and to provide outstanding hygienic results. The HyCLEAN CIP not only delivers savings though reduced water consumption, but also cuts risks and labor costs due to drastically reduced manual cleaning needs for conveyor belts.
