Scotland’s appetite for locally sourced salmon has skyrocketed in the past year, according to data compiled by supermarket chain Asda and food company Scotty Brand.

The festive season saw record volumes of Scotty Brand salmon sold across Asda stores, while the retailer also saw sales of salmon spike across its own brand premium range.
