Boston Bluefin Inc.
Boston Bluefin Inc. supplies fresh fish (tuna, swordfish, salmon, halibut, mahi, snapper, uni), as H&G, loins, fillets and special cuts to all segments of the seafood customer base. This includes wholesalers, distributors, broadliners, brokers, restaurants, grocery, fish markets, fish processors and further processors – locally, regionally and nationally. We also supply fresh/frozen processed Jonah and Red Crab products (meat and claws) to this same customer base.
Our proven success is based upon our outstanding quality, availability and service.
Quality – Boston Bluefin takes a holistic view of quality. The quality of our products is of the utmost importance (freshness, appearance, taste, texture, shelf life, etc.), and our requirements go well beyond that. Our quality standards demand the highest levels of customer support (responsiveness, proactiveness, value pricing, availability, timely delivery, etc.). And tying all of these characteristics together is consistency. We strive to provide the best products and support that our customers can receive from any company in the seafood industry – every day and in a manner they can count on. This why we have such a strong and loyal following.
Availability – It is impossible to maintain a strong customer base if we could not serve them consistently every week. We have strong relationships with fishing organizations world-wide and communicate with them daily – to secure the highest quality fish at the best prices. We are well-know for these skills and have been able to supply customers that may have historically placed their business with larger processors – but work with us often, and especially when those larger processors lack availability. And thankfully, that happens frequently.
Service – The supply chain for fresh seafood is constantly in flux – with challenges that are out of our control – weather, transportation, shortage of supply, etc. Unique customer needs can also arise quickly and require swift action. Our customers rely on us to be superb communicators, identify challenges before they create problems, be flexible and creative, and treat their business with the same care as if it was our own. We are diligent about maintaining this “white glove” service, which many other seafood processors have lost focus on as they have grown. We will never sacrifice maintaining our strong support culture for adding that next increment of growth.
