Following latest soup brand launch, Safe Catch appoints new marketing VP

Paul Laubscher has joined seafood startup Safe Catch as its vice president of marketing, the firm announced this month.

Sausalito, California, U.S.A.-based Safe Catch, which recently launched a new range of soups under the Safe Harvest brand, will look to Laubscher to help further its mission to “provide consumers with trusted food products that are sustainable, pure and nutritious,” the company said in a press release.

Laubscher served as director of marketing for Calbee North America prior to joining Safe Catch, and has more than two decades of career experience in marketing consumer packaged goods and product management. He has also worked with DOLE, Del Monte Foods, Inc., Aurora Foods, Colgate Palmolive, and ConAgra Frozen Foods.

Moving forward, Safe Catch said it will focus on continued growth, with more product development and retail distributions planned for 2020.
