Young’s Seafood CEO steps down as director, new appointment made

Bill Showalter, CEO of Young’s Seafood, has stepped down as a director of the company, according to a statement published with Companies House on 16 July.

In a separate statement, filed on the same day, the company advised that Michael Kamiel Jan Alfons Kestemont had consented to act as a director.

Both changes were effective 4 July.

At the start of this month, it was announced that U.K. pork processor Karro Food Group has reached an agreement to acquire Young’s Seafood and that the purchase would create a new multi-protein food group with Di Walker, executive chair of Karro, as its CEO.
