Northern Irish firm recalls contaminated salmon products

Ewing Seafoods is recalling its organic smoked salmon because it contains Listeria monocytogenes, the U.K. Food Standards Agency (FSA) has confirmed.

The contaminated products are sold in 100-gram and 200-gram formats. No other lines manufactured by the Belfast, Northern Ireland firm are known to be affected.

Point of sale notices are being displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These announcements explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have purchased them.
