Bonefish Grill gets back into the TV spotlight

Popular U.S. seafood restaurant chain Bonefish Grill has released its first TV advertisement in more than seven years.

The ad campaign, which began on 11 April, features imagery of hand-cut fish and hand-crafted cocktails.

"Bonefish Grill was founded on the belief that a great meal is more than just food on a plate," said Patty Treviño, CMO of Bonefish Grill, in a press statement regarding the campaign’s rollout. "From our hand-cut fresh fish to hand-crafted cocktails to our personalized Angler service, this was the inspiration for our campaign."

Created by Pitch, a Los Angeles, California-based ad agency, the 30-second spot will air in Florida via stations in Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Fort Myers and Jacksonville. It will also air in other major U.S. cities including Philadelphia, Raleigh, Denver, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Mobile-Pensacola, Myrtle Beach and Norfolk.

"The commercial ... captures the brand's authenticity through a 'documentary-style' production approach, which feels true to the voice of the brand," said Pitch President Rachel Spiegelman.
