Just in time for the holiday season, fast-casual restaurant chain Captain D’s is bringing back its large family meal option and introducing new items to its “Snacks” menu category.
The Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.-based operator of more than 530 casual seafood restaurants has re-introduced its 10-Piece Family Meal, which includes 10 pieces of Captain D's signature batter-dipped fish, a choice of two family-style sides, and “plenty of hush puppies” for USD 19.99 (EUR 17.78).
The franchise also announced two new “Snacks” items in its latest menu update: Southern-style fish tenders and butterfly shrimp served with hush puppies, both for USD 3.49 (EUR 3.10) each.
Captain D’s is also promoting its 36-piece butterfly shrimp platter for large gatherings through the end of the year, the company said.
"This time of year, people are on the go either working, shopping, or spending time with family," Bindi Menon, vice president of national marketing for Captain D’s, said in a statement. “Our hearty snacks are perfect for the busy shopper needing something while they are out running errands, and our 10-piece family meal provides dinner for the whole family when there is no time to cook– problems solved.”
