Mazzetta Company overhauls Seamazz packaging

Illinois, U.S.A-based Mazzetta Company announced last week a redesign of its Seamazz-brand packaging, featuring an updated look and a more sustainable design.

The newly remodeled bags will better showcase the seafood contained inside with coordinated pictures and a large viewing window, company founder and CEO Thomas J. Mazzetta said in an announcement. The bags will also provide nutritional information, clearly marked sizes and product forms, as well as making it clearer that the bags are recyclable, Mazzetta said.

“What we did not change was the quality of the product within the bags,” he said.

No changes will be made to the weight or case-pack counts of any Seamazz products, Mazzetta said.

“Since I started this company in 1987, I have insisted that Mazzetta Company provide the best products available. We don’t offer various levels of quality, only what we consider the finest. This practice of creating and demanding rigid specifications has created the foundation upon which my company has continued to grow and improve,” Mazzetta said. “Thank you for your patience over the coming months as we implement these improvements. Certainly you can appreciate the logistical challenges of distributing our new materials to many factories in several countries. Hopefully you will be as excited about these changes as I am.”
