Red Lobster is introducing a new Lobster and Chips dish and other dishes as part of its limited-time Lobsterfest promotion.
The operator of more than 700 restaurants in the United States and Canada is offering several new and existing lobster dishes that start at USD 19.99 (EUR 18.12) each as part of the promotion.
“We’re always exploring new and exciting options to offer our guests. This year, we’re adding a twist on the classic fish and chips dish, taking it up a notch by swapping fish for lobster in our new Lobster and Chips entrée,” Red Lobster Executive Chef and Director of Culinary Dustin Hilinski said in a press release.
The Lobster and Chips dish features hand-battered, deep-fried petite Maine lobster tail, served with french fries and coleslaw.
Red Lobster is also rolling out a new Ultimate Lobsterfest Surf and Turf dish, which includes a skewer of Maine lobster and filet medallions wood-grilled and paired with a smashed potato, topped with melted cheese, Maine lobster meat, and a rich lobster cream sauce.
Another new dish is New England Lobster and Seafood Bake, which includes petite Maine lobster tails split and sautéed with Dungeness crab, jumbo shrimp, mussels, smoked sausage, corn, and potato wedges in a garlic white wine sauce.
The Dungeness crab is available while supplies last, Red Lobster noted.
Existing entrees that are included in Lobsterfest promotion are: Lobster Lover’s Dream: roasted rock lobster tail, butter-poached Maine lobster tail and lobster-and-shrimp linguini alfredo; Ultimate Feast: Maine lobster tail, wild-caught North American snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi, and Walt's Favorite Shrimp; Seaport Lobster and Shrimp: wood-grilled Maine lobster tail, garlic shrimp scampi, and a jumbo wood-grilled shrimp skewer; and Red Lobster Signature Creamy Lobster Alfredo.
