Fibras Industriales to introduce next-generation netting to European market at Seafood Expo Global

Fibras Industriales S.A. (FISA), a maker of nets for use in fishing and aquaculture, will introduce its third-generation netting at the 2017 Seafood Expo Global in Brussels, Belgium from 25 to 27 April.

Headquartered in Lima, Peru, FISA is the one of the largest multi-filament fishing net makers in the world, manufacturing a full range of netting for purse-seine fishing, trawling, long-line fishing and fish-farming. In recent years, it has extended its line of products to include monofilament netting for aquaculture, trawl nets and sports netting.

FISA recently launched its Supra HDPE net product in March at the 2017 Seafood Expo North America in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. The company said it received several trial orders and initial customer feedback has been positive.

“Considering this is a high end product that was launched less than three months ago, the sales are greatly surpassing our expectations and it is now time for our European customers to enjoy the benefits of this product,” FISA Commercial Director Yoni Radzinski said.

FISA will have a joint presence at Seafood Expo Global, along with its sister company, the Peruvian scallop farmer Sea Protein S.A.. Both firms will be located in the Peruvian pavilion, booth No. 7-1749.
