The finalists for Ireland’s National Seafood Awards 2018 have been announced by the country’s seafood development agency, Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM).
A total of 37 individuals and businesses from Ireland’s seafood sector have been shortlisted, including Marine Harvest Ireland, McBride Fishing Company, Mulroy Bay Mussels, and the Galway Bay Inshore Fishermen's Association.
The awards span four core categories - skills, sustainability, innovation, and competitiveness – with subcategories recognising excellence in areas such as fishing, aquaculture, and processing.
Winners will be announced at an official ceremony in Dublin on 27 November, 2018.
