Fire ravages seafood warehouse and all product inside

A seafood warehouse in Beaufort, N.C., was nearly completely destroyed by a fire on 20 August.

The fire broke out at Beaufort Inlet Seafood Company on the Gallants Channel early that morning above a 50-foot by 50-foot freezer storage site. The fire marshal determined that area was the origin of the fire, but the cause is still under investigation, according to Carteret County News-Times.

Brent Fulcher, owner of Beaufort Inlet, said the company lost all of its seafood in the fire, ABC News Channel 12 reported. Unfortunately, around 75 percent of the building is a loss, but some of the back rooms were salvaged.
