Icelandic seafood company HB Grandi has launched its new trawler, Engey RE, under construction at the Celiktrans yard in Turkey.
Engey is the first of three trawlers designed to land fresh catches that HB Grandi has contracted for construction in Turkey. The new ship, which measures 54.75 meters, will be delivered later this year.
The next in the series, Akurey AK, will be delivered next spring, followed by the third newbuild in the second half of 2017.
